William Smith

William B. "Bill" Smith, age 93, of Remlap, died on July 25, 2014 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Torum, OK. After serving almost six years during and after WWII he relocated to Birmingham area where he was a barber all of his working career. He is survived by his wife of 60years, Lorene H. Smith, two brothers, James and G.A. Smith of Morgan Hill, CA, and sister Sally Erdman, of Mead, OK. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Smith and mother Lulu Smith, one sister Betsy Smith. Bill was a member of the Masonic Order and a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason, also a life member Zamora Shrine. Services will be held on Tuesday, at 11am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
