Rev. William R. Mallory, known to friends and family as Bill, went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 3, 2015 in Birmingham, AL at the age of 66. Bill is survived by his wife, Saundra Mallory; daughter, Lauren Mallory Dews; and son-in-law Chip Dews, of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by his mother, Doris Mallory, of Elba, AL; sisters and brothers, Ella Mallory Minchew, Norma Mallory Bean, Ron Mallory, Betty Mallory Helms, Fred Mallory, Charles Mallory, Tamra Mallory Hogue, and Ben Mallory, along with brothers and sisters-in-law, and 17 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Wade Mallory, and his grandparents Grover and Susie Mallory, Sam Boswell, and Glenn and Carvie Abercromie. In addition to being a husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, Bill was also a man of great love and faith. Many of his years were spent ministering to others through music, which was truly his passion. His family grieves for him while taking comfort that he is rejoicing in heaven with his Creator. Visitation will be from 12:30pm until 1:30pm Sunday, June 7, at Huffman United Methodist Church. Funeral service to follow at 1:30pm.
