William J. Loris, age 77, of Birmingham, AL peacefully passed away on November, 27, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Marion Loris of 54 years and his children: Nicholas Loris (Kim) of Pittsburgh, PA, Darlene McGregor (Mike) of McDonough, GA, Elaine McGowan (Steve) of Springville, AL, Diane Yackee (Bobby) of Odenville, AL, and Jennifer Benfield (Kelly) of Rockhill, SC; eighteen grandchildren and a sister, Peg Newman of IL. William retired from Continental Can and National Can after 43 years of service, along with his service in the Air Force National Guard. Visitation will be Sunday, November 30th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville with prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Monday, December 1st at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Heart Association in his honor.
