William Johnson, Sr.

Johnson, William Thomas (Tommy) age 73, died Saturday, June 16, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, John Edward Johnson, his mother Willene Thomas Johnson and his brother John Edward Johnson Jr. He leaves behind a loving wife of 51 years, Marsha Gerelds Johnson, two children: William Thomas (Tommy) Johnson Jr. (Debbie), Leslie Johnson Rittenhouse (George). Seven grandchildren; Ellie Light (David), Hunter Johnson (Taylor), Austin Wiley, Abbey Johnson, Anna Grace Johnson, Ed Johnson and Rylee Rittenhouse, two great grandchildren; Sawyer Wilson and Lakelynn Light. Tommy (Bubba) was an active member of Argo Christian Fellowship for 37 years. He was the Founder of Institutional Sales Systems, Inc. and the former CEO of The Christian Service Mission. He continued, after his retirement, helping with food donations and distribution for many charitable organizations. He was a Warbler at Woodlawn High School and a member of the Kool Kats quartet. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 23, from 10-12 funeral to follow at Crosspoint Baptist Church, 8000 Liles Lane, Trussville, Alabama (Argo) 35173. No flowers please.
