William Hayes

Mr. William Hayes Jr., 86, of Tarrant passed away on November 13, 2017. William worked as a Compressor Station Clerk at Kinder Morgan (formerly Sonat) for 45 years, was a minister at Robinwood Church of Christ, and loved to fish, watch Alabama football, and go to the beach with his family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jo Stewart Hayes, grandson, Steven Moore, brother, Richard L. Hayes, sisters, Elizabeth Baker and Martha Drake, and his parents. He is survived by sons, William Hayes III (Judy) and Mike Hayes (Rhonda), daughter, Karen Hayes-Moore, grandchildren, Jennifer (Richie), Melissa, Jason, and Lori (Michael), great-grandchildren, Chace, Abby, Jace, Alyssa, Jackson, Cash, Brooks, and J.T., and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 5pm to 7pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 12pm from the funeral home chapel with a one hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will immediately follow the service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
