William Dole

William A. "Dub" Dole, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 11, 2016. He was an owner with D&R Heating and Cooling, was a previous member of Local 48 Sheet Metal Union. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and enjoyed time at the Trussville Senior Citizens Center. Mr. Dole was preceded in death by his son Rusty Dole, his parents and 5 siblings. Services will be held on Friday, Dec 16 at Noon at Trussville 1st United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 10am until service time Friday. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Shirley Elrod Dole, daughter Donna Dole Glassco, daughter in law Lisa Ballard Dole, grandchildren Katie Glassco (Jason Grissom), Emily Dole (FiancAC. Zach Hupy), and Will Dole, sister Theresa West, and brother Jimmy Dole. He was loved and will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, family, friends and community. The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at Grandview CICU for their care and compassion for Mr. Dole.
