William Crooks

William A. Crooks "Butch", age 70 of Birmingham, AL passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Butch graduated from Ensley High School and from Birmingham Southern College with a Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance. Butch worked in association with the petroleum industry for 29 years. Butch's fun loving spirit and outgoing personality made it a joy for family and friends to be around him and his presence will be greatly missed by all. Butch was recently preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Cox "Toby" and his son-in-law, David B. Keith. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Crooks; daughter, Kristi Musgrove; son, Brian Crooks (Vanessa); sisters, Jackie Rowell (Butch) and Ann Ferguson (Paul); grandchildren, Brody Musgrove, Brock Musgrove, Connor Crooks and Iva Crooks. Memorial services will be on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services.
