age 96, a long-time resident of Tarrant, AL passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Tarrant, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. L. "Babe" Bowers. She is survived by her 10 children: Mary Jane Allred, Penny Mann (W. R.), Lloyd Bowers (Carolyn), Patsy Smith (Hugh), Argo Bowers (Judy), Barbara Rachels (Wayne), Sam Bowers (Connie), Martha Bowers, Mark Bowers (Barbara) and Richard Bowers (Kathy); she is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be at 12 noon on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Brother Mark Lawley will be officiating.
