Wilburn Leon Smith

Wilburn Leon Smith of Mount Olive, Alabama passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 94 years of age. He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Anna Sue Brooks Smith, his parents, Stewart Lancelot Smith and Leavy Edith Watts Smith, his brothers, James Smith and Lloyd Smith and his sister, Ruby Thompson. He is survived by his daughters, Diana Williams (Terry) and Cathy Landers (Matt) and his grandchildren, Tim Dunn (Hope), Nicole Landers and Natalie Landers. Wilburn grew up in Tarrant, Alabama and was a lifelong member of Plainview Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens in Trussville, Alabama with services to follow at 2:00 PM. Brother Tim Tidwell will officiate. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
