Wayne Harris

Wayne Harris, age 84, of Pinson, AL went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 7, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Wayne had a strong will. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was known for his sweet tooth and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was known for being energetic and outgoing. He liked sports and will be remembered for his homemade ice cream.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Harris; his parents, Ray and Susie Harris and his two brothers, Arvil Harris and EJ Harris.

He is survived by his four children, Pam Bagwell (Leon), Denise Roberts, Karen Harris (Leon), and Jonathan Harris; five grandchildren, Brandon (Gretchen), Blake, Abby, Dawson, and Karissa; one great granddaughter, Harper; he also leaves behind two sisters and four brothers, numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 5pm until 7pm. The funeral for Wayne will be held at Jefferson Memorial Chapel at 12 noon on Friday, November 12th with burial at Jefferson Memorial’s adjoining cemetery.
