Wanda Sublett

Wanda Sue Mims Sublett, age 67, of Hoover, passed away March 5, 2013. Wanda was born Oct 31, 1945 in Birmingham, AL, and was a graduate of Ensley High School. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Sublett was preceded in death by her parents Commodore and Elmerine Mims of Birmingham, AL. She is survived by her husband, Charles "Don"; her children, Kelly Sherrill of Nashville, TN and C. Brandon Sublett (Jennifer); two grandchildren, Alex Sherrill and Taylor Sherrill; sisters, Shirley Pollard (Morris), Josephine E. Frith and Dorothy Griffin; brothers, Olney Mims (JoAnn), Raymell Mims, Dearl Mims, and Dwight Jones (Bonnie); numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Saturday, March 9, at 2pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
