Wanda Harrison LeCroy passed away the morning of February 27th. Born in Birmingham on June 17, 1925, to Emma Della and Mason Harrison, she was predeceased by her parents; spouse Arnell "Lucky" LeCroy; brothers Donald and Dale; sisters Evelyn Isley, Mildred Rains, and Wilda Baker; son-in-law Gery Jones; and beloved nephew Randy Baker. She is survived by daughters Bonnie Jones and Paula (Ronald) Long; son Steve (Belinda) LeCroy; grandchildren Janae (Tim) Eller, Brian (Jennifer) Jones, Jeremy (Nicole) Jones, Samantha Jones, Hunter (Christine) Long, Courtney Long, and Austin LeCroy; great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Savannah, Shelby, Mary Grace, Alexandrea, Joshua, Sara and Harrison Jones, Chaney, Luke and Grant Eller; and many loved nieces and nephews. Wanda was an active member and Sunday School teacher at 85th Street Baptist Church, which her father built, and later Huffman Baptist Church for many years. In 1946, she met and married the love of her life, Lucky. Around this time, fourteen young people came together and called themselves "the gang". These friendships lasted a lifetime. They shared births, deaths, joys and sorrows, and spent holidays and vacations together making lifelong memories for their children. Of these wonderful friends, now only two widows remain. Wanda and Lucky worked together to build a successful business for 40 years. They were blessed to travel the world together, having many adventures along the way.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Omega Hospice for their loving care. Services will be held at Jefferson Memorial, Trussville, AL. Visitation is Sunday, March 2nd from 5:00 - 7:00; funeral service is Monday, March 3rd at noon; burial to follow at Veteran's section of cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Gentiva Hospice in Cullman, AL, or James Robison's Life Outreach International. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
