Walton Nichols

Mr. Walton Newton Nichols, 88, of Birmingham, passed away on December 6, 2016. Walton was a member of Valley East Baptist Church, American Legion, and was a proud Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife, Myra Jean Nichols, daughters, Eleanor Morgan (Charles) and Judith Joiner, son, James Nichols (Susan), 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm from the funeral home chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with Reverend Steve Loggins officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to the Disable American Veterans Charity.
