Virgil Phillips

Virgil Wayne Phillips, age 73 of Hoover, AL passed away on December 23, 2013. He attended Valleydale Church. He was the owner of American Electric Motor Service in Irondale, AL. He worked for Westinghouse Corporation. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Eva Phillips, brother, Bobby Phillips and sisters, Mary Church and Wanda Phillips. He is survived by his wife, Carol Waldrop Phillips; son, Dee W. Phillips; daughter, Danielle Burnett (Bubba); brother, Cecil Phillips; sisters, Martha Brasher and Nancy Bartlett; grandchildren, Kayedee Garner, Sarah Phillips, and Landon Kole Burnett; great granddaughter, Rilee Nicole; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Services will be on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
