Victoria Bright

Victoria A. Bright of Birmingham, AL passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 at her residence. She was a member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was retired following a career in IT with Jefferson County. Mrs. Bright was preceded in death by her father, William L. Austin and a sister, Donna Debra Austin. She is survived by her husband, Barry R. "Randy" Bright; mother, Emily Austin; step-daughter, Angela Tatum (Kelly) of Clay, AL; grandchildren, Tanner and Noah Tatum, and Mrs. Bright's faithful Shih-tzu companion of 11 years, CoCo. Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville on Tuesday, May 29 from 11 AM until 12 PM. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 12 PM with burial to follow in the Gardens with the Rev. Don Acton officiating. The family will be accepting flowers, but in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church in memory of Mrs. Bright or to the American Cancer Society.
