Veva Foote

Veva Foote, born July 7, 1922, with her son by her side on August 16, 2011, passed peacefully and went to meet her heavenly Father where we are sure she was met by a host of loving family members who preceded her in death. Those who preceded her include her parents, Juanita Sarah & John Henry Reynwald; husband, Charles Pharis Foote; sisters, Viola Clark, Evalena Seward, & Gladys Gruvman, all of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Zella LaFray of Missoula, Montana and Betty Wiggans of Denver, Colorado; brother, John Charles Reynwald, of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Mrs. Foote is survived by her son, Daniel Foote and his wife, Vicky; granddaughter, Caitlin Foote; grandsons, Derek Cardwell & Cory Cardwell; sister, Lois Lee of Denver, Colorado; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mrs. Foote graduated from Albion 2 year Teacher College and taught school at Dewey School in Bonneville County, Idaho. She also worked as a bank teller in California before enlisting in the Women's Army Corps. She married Charles Pharis Foote on June 7, 1947 in Ocean Park, California; together, they moved to Birmingham, Alabama. She was actively involved in the First United Methodist Church of Center Point. At the church, she served as a Sunday School teacher, worked in the women's group, and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Mrs. Foote worked as a real estate agent for many years, and was also a part time school supply teacher in Birmingham. Funeral services for Mrs. Foote will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 5:00 - 7:00PM. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
