Vera Stegall

Vera May Stegall, 92 of Irondale (Rosehill) passed away on February 13, 2012. Mrs. Stegall was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, William E. Stegall and two grandsons, Frank Layne and Zachary Van Osdol. Survivors include her children, Beverly Holsomback, Barbara Murphree, Herman "Bill" Stegall (Laura), Lynnette Vines (James) and Curtis Stegall (Lynn); eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Services will be held on Friday, February 17 at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. The family wants to give special thanks to the staff at Shelby Ridge Alabaster for their great quality of care, love and attention given to Mrs. Stegall during her two year stay with them.
