Vallie Jones

Vallie "Mack" Jones, age 87, of Warrior, AL passed away on December 11, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Betty B. Jones, of 62 years; also he is survived by his daughter, Cathy Loggins (Wesley), and sons, Dennis Jones (Linda) and Keith Jones (Sherri); twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Jule M. Jones and Charlie Mae Jones; brother, Charles L. Jones and sister, Shirley J. Maluff. Mack attended Woodlawn high school and Howard College. He served in the Korean War and retired from Steward Machine Co after serving 41 1/2 years as vice president. He was a member of Hughes Memorial Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow the chapel service. Brother Craig Gilley is officiating.
