Ursula Kirkpatrick

Ursula H. Kirkpatrick, age 81, of Mountain Brook, AL passed away on July 27, 2021. She was a native of Mannheim, Germany. She was born on April 19, 1940 to Lydia Wolf Holtz. She was one of the first women employed by Kassouf and Company and retired after 39 years of service. She loved animals and enjoyed gardening. She donated a lot of her time to the Birmingham Human Society. She was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis DeGrado (Joseph); grandchildren, Jarred DeGrado (Amber), Kayla Luker (Tyler), Christopher DeGrado (Marsha), and Christina Hogan (Kyle); six greatgrandchildren, Jacob, Sean, Colyn, William, Kameron and Eleanor; her brother, Thomas Templeton and a host of loving family and friends. A celebration of Ursula’s life will be announced in the near future. In lieu of flower please send donations in Ursula’s name to the Birmingham Human Society and to the Make A Wish Foundation.
