Tracy Lowery

Tracy Benton Lowery, 73, of Springville Alabama, passed into God's loving hands on December 23, 2016. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a beloved friend to many. Tracy was such a kind, thoughtful, and gentle woman. She was born on January 25, 1943 in Birmingham Alabama to James Harold Benton (Jelly) and Tracy Merle Benton. Tracy had many cousins and she enjoyed seeing them at the yearly Seller's family reunions. Tracy graduated from West End high school in 1961. She married her forever love, Philip Wayne Lowery, in 1965. Tracy and Philip raised two daughters. Tracy worked as an Administrative assistant, and retired from the Birmingham Police Department. She is survived by her two daughters, Kristi Lowery and Kim Jones (Jonathan), her nephew Scott Lowery, Grandchildren Valerie King (Randy), Jenifer Phelps (Matt), April King, Kasey Maples (Dustin), Daniel Maples (Allison), Matthew Cherry, along with 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Jefferson Memorial. Visitation will be from 11:00AM to 12:00PM, the Memorial service will directly follow at 12:00PM.
