Tommy Parker

Tommy G. Parker, age 78, of Birmingham, passed away November 10, 2017. Tommy was a retired Chief Petty Officer with 21 years of service in the Coast Guard, and was retired from the Irondale Police with 12 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley F. Parker, parents Eugene and Hassie Parker. Memorial services will be held at Tarrant First Baptist Church at 11am Thursday. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Parker Watlington, grandson Cody Watlington (Madilyn), great granddaughter Chloe Ann Watlington, sister Debbye Freeman (Larry), nieces Kelly Wade and Melissa Freeman, grandnieces and nephews Ethan, Jewels, Brett, and Taylor. Tommy was a kind, gentle, wise, and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
