Tommy Godwin

Tommy Graham Godwin (fondly known as Santa Tommy), 71, of Birmingham, Alabama, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 8th, 2018.  Proceeded in death by his parents, Ruel Graham Godwin and Evelyn Bright Godwin.  Survived by his wife, Darcy Inzer Godwin; brother-in-law, Marshal Claude Inzer (Vicki), niece - Joanna Inzer Moates (Sam); Nephew's - Marc Thomas (Lia) and John David Thomas.  A host of family and friends.  He was adored by his two fur babies - Co Co and She She.

Tommy attended Banks High School and served in the United States Marine Corp.

He was a Faithful member of North Clay Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Trustee and team member of the Finance Department

Serving years as the Alabama State Representative for the National Street Rod Association and as officers in numerous car clubs in the Birmingham area.  He was a staff member with O'Rielly World of Wheels and Bama Coast Cruise.

Tommy loved the University of Alabama but his love for Christmas and children far surpassed all the sports in the world.  He has left a legacy as one of the most beloved Santa's.
