Timothy Rackley

Mr. Timothy Rackley, age 50, of Trussville passed away on May 20, 2018. Tim was employed at Skyline Metal Roofing, loved working around the house, helping his family and neighbors, and was a proud graduate of Hewitt-Trussville High School. He was a gentle, sweet, and loving husband, father, and brother. He was a strong man who could carry the weight of the world on his shoulders with a smile on his face. A brave man and a hero to his family. He is preceded in death by his son, Logan Rackley; father, Johnny Rackley; sister, Tracy Howell; brother-in-law, Brandon Channell; and mother-in-law, Janice Nichols. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Rackley; son, Chase Rackley (Kady); daughter, Lauren Rackley (Chris); mother, Kay Rackley; sister, Teresa Rackley Hart (Cary); sisters-in-law, Kristin White (Lynn) and Kim Channell; father-in-law, Barney Channell; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. The funeral service will begin at 2:00pm from the funeral home chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
