Timothy Duff Morrison, of Trussville, age 44, lost his life in a car accident, Thursday April 5, 2012 and was taken into the arms of his savior. He was born November 8, 1967 in St. Louis, MO, moved to Birmingham at age four. Tim graduated from Shades Valley High School and the University of Alabama, where he played football and was a Pi Kappa Alpha. He was employed by the Birmingham Museum and a member of Church of the Highlands. Tim lived a life of music as accomplished singer, writer and musician and invited to Taiwan to perform for the Tsunami Relief. His life's dream was to be a daddy and everything in his life paled to his love for his son, four year old Landon Mills Duff Morrison. Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents Ed and Bernice Morrison of Memphis, TN; Kermit and Victoria Harris; and uncle Joseph Harris, of Tuscaloosa. He is survived by his beloved son, Landon Morrison; his parents John and Linda Mills of Hoover and Duff Morrison of Pell City; sisters Vicki Law (Bill) of Luverne, AL and Dawn Roper of Holly Springs, NC; brother Matthew Morrison (Taylor), Alabaster; He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews; great niece and nephew; and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held Mon., April 9th, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held Tues., April 10th, 2012 at 2p.m. in Jefferson Memorial Trussville Chapel. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
