Thulie Marie Danner of Hayden passed away on April 4, 2012 at the age of 100 after a long illness, at home with her family at her side. She was born May 17, 1911 in Slaughters, KY to the late Ina Mae and Edmon Chandler. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Eugene Danner; son, Raymond Eugene Danner, Jr.; brother, Mardell Chaffin; sisters; Cosier Mae Adair, Lockie Woodruff and Allene Gage; son-in-law, W.S. Blair of Tarrant; great-granddaughter, Rebecca Haley and infant grandson David Danner. Mrs. Danner was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was blessed with a very alert mind till the end. She was baptized in the Ohio River as a young girl and attended Hayden First Baptist Church as long as she was able. She is survived by her son,Bobby Joe Danner (Frances); daughter, Colleen Blair; daughter-in-law, Ann Danner. Grandchildren, Gordon Blair (Pauline), Michael Steven Blair (Tracy), Cindy Reid (Bill), Teresa Sunderland (Gary), Kathy Devall, Margaret Webb (Bill), Raymond Danner III (Dorothy). Great grandchildren, Brandon Blair (Carisa), Jordan Blair (Brittany), Laura Ellils (Bryan), Sammy Haley, Julian Evans, Christopher and Kristen Sunderland, BJ and John Mark Webb, Rebecca, Kelsey and Megan Blair, Jessie James and Abby Gulden, and Luna Kelley. Great-Great Grandchildren Benjamin and Grace Ellis, Colton Blair, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all. She enjoyed travelling, reading and was an avid Auburn fan. We wish to thank everyone at Vitas Hospice for their compassion and excellent care. Funeral service will be Monday, April 9, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation preceding the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. with burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
