Thomas Melvin

Thomas E. Melvin, age 70, of Trussville, passed away May 27, 3013. He was a member of Dolcito Masonic Lodge #596 and was a loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Marvin and Vivian Sullivan Melvin, siblings Clifford E. Melvin, Robert F. Melvin, and Jimmi Lou Cosby. Chapel services will be Friday, May 31, at 10am with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Thursday. He is survived by his wife Laura Faye Melvin, children Tommy (Ty) Melvin, Jamie (Mary) Alexander, Gina (Mike) Schultz, Samantha (Rich) Roper, Linda Morris and Rhonda Parker, 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Melvin Vines and Gayle Melvin Smith.
