Thomas Brittion

Thomas E. "Tommy" Britton Sr., age 68, of Vestavia, passed away July 10, 2011. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a member of Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church in Vestavia, and was a retired Insurance Marketing Representative with American States Insurance Company with 30 years of service. He was an avid New York Yankees and Auburn fan. Visitation will be from 1pm until 3pm Thursday at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with chapel services following. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Ruth D. Britton, sons Thomas Edgar "Ed" Britton Jr. (Chris), Matthew Leslie Britton, three grandchildren Isabel and Will North, and Jackson Britton, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
