Thomas Allbritton

With passion, Tom possessed a deep knowledge of classical and operatic music. He was a proud member of the United States Air Force, had a love for American and European history, and had an infectious smile and ridiculous sense of humor. Mr. Thomas C. Allbritton (Tom), 85, passed away on September 5, 2016. He was born on January 14, 1931 to the late Thomas and Florine Allbritton. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, William M. Allbritton (Bill). He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Elrod Allbritton, son, Barton T. (Bart) Allbritton (Peggi), daughter, Anne Elizabeth Allbritton-Wiles (John), grandchildren, Alyssa K. Allbritton and Bryton T. Allbritton, and granddogs, Mugsy and Dink. Tom enjoyed traveling out West through the Rocky Mountains, had an enormous love for food, and most of all, watching Alabama football. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
