Thadeus Mcswain

McSwain, Thadeus Cullman, Born September 11, 1926 in Clanton, AL , passed away on February 16, 2009 at his home in Hiram, GA at the age of 82. He was an alumnus of Auburn University, a U.S. Navy veteran, and retired from U.S. Pipe and Foundry Co. after 42 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, T.C. and Sidney McSwain, sisters Louise Inzer, Mary Jones, and Elizabeth Miller and nephew Burt Inzer. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Celesta Ann Hill McSwain of Hiram, GA, son Robert Tucker and his wife, Barbara of St. Martinville, LA; daughter, Melody M. McCallum and her husband, Robert of Alpharetta, GA; and son Jeff McSwain and his wife Cindy of Douglasville, GA and 4 grandchildren, Ashley Wicker, Britani, Corey and Caitlin McSwain; and sister Frances Hodges and her husband Jim of Panama City Beach, FL and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Jefferson Memorial in Birmingham, AL. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 18, from 5pm until 7pm and graveside services will be held on Thursday February 19 at 1pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
