Terry A. Reed

Funeral Services for Mr. Terry A. Reed, age 75 of Birmingham, will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Matt Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Reed passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Terry was a graduate of Jacksonville State University where he obtained his Bachelors Degree in Accounting. He grew up in Fort Payne, Alabama. Mr. Reed loved his hometown and spoke of it frequently. He was an Avid Alabama Fan, a loving father, brother and friend that will be dearly missed. ROLL TIDE!

He is survived by his daughter, Allison Reed (Anthony Newton), his son, Phillip Reed, his sister, Rilla Greeson (Norman), his brother-in-law, Dale Phillips (Sandy Farmer), a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Reed and his parents, Carl and Burma Reed.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Irondale United Methodist Church and Special Camps Foundation ESG Foundation in Dad’s memory.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. until service time at 10:00 A.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
