Sue Reed

Louise Aldridge Reed, age 89, a resident of Peachtree Assisted Living in Trussville, AL went to her heavenly home on December 5, 2008. She is preceded in death by her parents, eleven brothers and sisters, also by her husband, Robert S. Reed, Sr., her son, Robert S. Reed, Jr. "Steve" and her son-in-law, Bobby Franklin. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn R. Franklin; daughter-in-law, Nancy M. Reed; granddaughters, Kimberly F. Shimer (Bill), and Kristin F. Adams (David); grandson, Robert S. Reed, III.; six great grandchildren, a large extended family and many special friends. Louise was an office manager, a credit union manager and President of Birmingham Professional Women's Club. She taught Sunday School for many years at Center Point Baptist. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church at the present time. Services will be Monday, December 8, 2008 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. A special thanks to the loving staff at Peachtree and to Southern Care Hospice for their care for Louise. We will miss you "Nannie."
