Stewart Jordan

Stewart Blake Jordan, age 88, of Birmingham, AL, went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2011. Mrs. Jordan was a lifetime member of Ruhama Baptist Church, though she later attended Huffman Baptist. She was a member of the Samford Auxiliary, Roebuck Springs Garden Club, and the Woodlawn High School reunion group. Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her husband, Tom M. Jordan; parents, Victor Crawford & Kathleen Livingston Blake. She is survived by her sisters, Carolyn Smith of New Port Richey, Florida, Frances B. Wilson of Birmingham, and Kathleen B. Owens of Birmingham; nieces, Paula Sumrall (Mike), Anne Harris (Owen), Peggy Stockton (Joe), Vicki Bagley, and Judy Motlow; a host of family and friends survives Mrs. Jordan. Funeral services for Mrs. Jordan will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:00AM. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4:00 - 6:00PM as well as an hour prior to the services on Monday. Pallbearers will include Will Motlow, Joe Stockton, Heath Stockton, Mike Sumrall, Neal Ellis and Nathan Payne. Brother Ron Ethridge will officiate the service. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
