Steven Dahlke

Steven Ray Dahlke, age 54, of Birmingham passed away November 7, 2009. He was born and raised in Birmingham. At the age of 16, he became ill with Schizophrenia (a form of mental illness) and lived in group homes the remainder of his life. He was a talented musician and played many instruments. He was a giving person and was loved by everyone that met him. His family was the most important part of his life. He tried very hard to keep up with all the new generations of his family. We will miss him very much. Services will be Wednesday Nov. 11 at 2pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Pastor Dave Moerbe officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm until 2pm Wednesday. He is survived by his mother Beulah Dahlke, brothers Fred (Connie) Dahlke, Keith (Cindy) Dahlke, and Wallace (Hope) Dahlke, several nieces and nephews. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
