Stephen Jackson

Stephen Carter Jackson, age 66 of Springville, AL passed away on November 14, 2015. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He was a longtime hospital administrator in Alabama and Mississippi and was instrumental in creating the Mississippi Healthcare Alliance, resulting in sweeping changes in patient care. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herb and Joann Jackson and his step-son, Scott. He is survived by his wife, Cathie Hines Jackson; daughters, Betsy McBee (Clay) and Jesslyn Jackson; sister, Kathy Jackson Hunt; brother, Greg Jackson (LeeAnn); grandsons, Jackson and William McBee; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 5 to 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 2 PM at First Baptist Church Chalkville.
