Stefanie Roberts

Stefanie Randi Roberts; entered this life on 06-16-1972, and on 04-30-2016 "slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter -silvered wings". She was a loving daughter, sister, friend. Stefanie had a great passion for the beauty of the outdoors and Art. She loved her pets as much as any human could possibly. She grew up in Irondale, went to school at Irondale Community School and graduated from Shades Valley High School, 1990. Her church in Birmingham was McElwain Baptist Church. After graduation she lived in Jacksonville, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia, following her job opportunities. She will be missed beyond what words can describe by her mother, Paula Simmons; father, Randal Roberts; sisters, Kimeron and Tanitha Roberts; her close friend of over 25 years Chuck Herrold; many, many more wonderful friends, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Now Stefanie will have "put out her hand and touched face of God". She will be in the next life with her beloved grandfather, Billie Roberts and grandmother, Dorothy Roberts, both of whom loved her without boundaries. Stefanie's time in this life ended much too early, but she will never be forgotten by all who knew her. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 2 to 3 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Jody Barker will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
