Shirley Traweek

Shirley Traweek, 72, of the Holly Springs Community, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in Birmingham, AL. She is preceded in death by her father Arnold Traweek and brother Danny Traweek. She is survived by her mother Bessie Traweek, daughter Dawn England (Phil); grandson Ronnie Atkinson and step-granddaughter, Kristen Gargus.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East, Trussville, AL from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 12:00 PM with Rev. Harlen Harris presiding. Burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Asked to serve as pallbearers are Ronnie Atkinson, Phil England, Jeff Headley, Bo Moore, Ray Moore and David Moore.

Memorial donations can be made in Shirley's name to the Blount County Animal Shelter or any local animal rescue.
