Shirley Mckinney

Shirley Thompson McKinney, 63, of Birmingham passed away on November 17, 2008. Shirley worked as a receptionist for Eastern Urology, attended South Roebuck Baptist Church and was a lifelong member of Rock United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Thompson and her step father M.H. Cole. She is survived by her husband, Dalton E. McKinney. Their daughter, Misty McKinney Chandler (Don Jr.); her mother, Cornelia Cole; her brother, Richard Thompson (Jody); three grandchildren, Caroline Marie Chandler, Zack Joseph Chandler and Peyton Michael Chandler. The family would like to give special thanks to Eastern Urology Associates, doctors and nurses at St. Vincent's East and UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center and New Beacon Hospice. Visitation will be held on November 18 from 5:00 i�½" 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be held on November 19 at 2PM with Pastor Chris Crain officiating with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
