Shelia Murray

Shelia Murray, age 85 of Royston, GA passed away on June 14, 2015. She was a member of Franklin Springs Baptist Church in Royston, GA. She retired from Kroger Supermarket. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Ellis Murphree and Ina Lee Quallas Murphree, brother, Ervin Murphree, sisters, Jeanette Murphree and Ilene Murphree, six half- brothers and two half-sisiters, son, James Everett Thomas and daughter, Patricia Thomas. She is survived by her sons, Kevin Thomas (Saralynn) and Lamar Thomas; daughters, Carolyn Baxter and Donna Rollins; sisters, Tempie Elmore and Hazel Garmon; grandchildren, Richard Thomas (Jessica), Blair Eubanks, Russell Rollins and Melissa Rollins; 5 great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Trinity Hospital and Gentive Hospice program for their love and care of Mrs. Murray. Services will be on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Donny Thomason will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
