Sharon Lee Terry nee Shores passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 31, 2024 after emergency procedures. she was born November 18, 1941 in Illinois to Vernon and Vivian Shores, the eldest of 10 children. Sharon was an avid reader, especially of true crime and Old West history. She was a skilled painter and a dogged researcher of trivia and loved watching horse racing.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five of her siblings, Dennis Shores, Vaughn Shores, Jerre Kitre nee Shores, Thomas Shores, and Don Shores. She joins her sons Jeffery, Michael, and Scott, who left her too early.

She is survived by her husband Lee Terry and er daughter Beth Bailey nee Terry (Dale) and son Cale Terry (Ruth), her sister Kathy Palmer nee Shores, William Shores, Kevin Shores (Dorene) and Bobby Shores (Dinah).

Some of her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Alex Bailey (Nikki), Nicholas Bailey and Victoria Stallworth nee Bailey (Dunk) and great grandchildren Logan Ramsey Bailey, Rowan Stough, Juliana Bailey, Charlotte Stallworth, and Bailey Stallworth.

Sharon will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
