Shane Stathers

In Loving Memory of Shane Aaron Stathers, 8 years old, who lived in Trussville, AL and died August 1, 2011. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Doctrinal Studies Bible Church - 324 Camp Circle, Birmingham, AL 35215. The service will be officiated by Pastor Ron Adema with words from his beloved Grampy, Gary Horton. Shane was the most sweet, loving, joy to all who knew him. He loved Jesus and touched everyone he knew with his tender heart. There is a Shane-shaped hole in all of our hearts who love and miss him. Shane is survived by: Momma, TJ Stathers; father, Jarrod Stathers; step-brother, Krystopher Stathers; grandparents Gary (Grampy) & Ruth (Gah) Horton and Brenda Stathers, all of Trussville; uncle, Jason Stathers (Alicia); cousins, Ian & Cole. Isaiah 57:1-2 "The righteous pass away; the godly often die before their time; and no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For the godly who die will rest in peace." Rest in peace, our dear, sweet Shane.
