Shane Hammett

Shane Hammett, 26 of Pinson passed away December 14, 2011. Shane was preceded in death by his father, Edward James Hammett, his grandmothers, Dorothy Mae Gray and Patricia Roberts. Survivors include his wife, Ashley Hammett; a daughter, Kylie; a son, Caleb; mother, Tanya Jewel; and step father Donald Jewel; two sisters, Jennifer West and Alaina Hammett; four brothers, Matthew, Michael and David West and Colby Jewel; grandfather, Ronnie Gray; step grandmother, Darlene Gray; nephew, Gabriel West and a great aunt, Ruth Howard. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with Chapel services beginning at 2:00 PM at the funeral home and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
