Mr. Scott Sexton, age 55 of Trussville, AL passed away on September 26, 2020. Scott was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. He moved with his family to Shreveport, LA in 1979. He completed school at Southwood High School. Worked and was a medic in the Shreveport Army National Guard Unit. The unit was activated during Desert Storm. After a severe MVA in 2002 he moved to Trussville, AL be with his family in 2006. Scott loved to be with friends and family. He was an avid Alabama Football fan, he enjoyed music, reading and interested in ancient history and current events. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Sadie Sexton, Travis and Belle English, his father, Robert Sexton. He is survived by his mother Patricia Sexton, sister, Dana L. Moland, uncles, Mike English (Nancy), Mark English (Lisa) and cousins and his constant companions, Bella and Mason the family dachshunds. A bright light dimmed too soon. We love you and you will be missed. Special thanks to Drs. Mark Middlebrooks, Ken Older, The medical, nursing and auxiliary staff of St. Vincent’s East and to the staff of Kaba (Lincare) fusion. A private family celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5, 2020 and 2:00 PM. Any donations can be made to your local pet adoption and rescue agency.
