Sarah Pass

Mrs. Sarah Anne McCord Pass , age 88 of Trussville died Monday December 23, 2013 after an extended illness. Sarah was a member of Wilson Chapel UMC in Roebuck, where she had served as treasurer; she loved volunteering with schools, PTA and the Beta Signma Phi where she helped with volunteering her services in the communities. Eldredge and Sarah Pass both helped in the forming and building of South Roebuck Baseball Park where she loved serving families in the concession stand from 1961-1965. She loved being with her family, traveling with her husband to his Army -Air Force Reunions, traveling to the Florida and Alabama coast, Christmas was her favorite holiday and she was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Football Fan "ROLL TIDE" Mrs. Pass was preceded in death by her parents, Walter McCord and Allie McCalip McCord; her husband of 61 years, Eldredge C. Pass and her son, Charles E. Pass. Survivors include her daughter, Lynn P. Roberts; her grandchildren, Ryan V. Kennedy, Sarah E. Roberts, Tara N. Roberts and Chris C. Pass and her great grandchildren, Jayden C. Roberts, Dale Pass, and Hope Pass. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday, December 27, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Jefferson Memorial East, Trussville directing.
