Sarah Forsythe

Mrs. Sarah G. "Geri" Forsythe, 79, of Springville, passed away on December 26, 2016. She was born on September 21, 1937 to the late Ernest and Fannie Carlton. Mrs. Forsythe was a devoted member of NorthPark Baptist Church in Trussville. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney D. Forsythe, parents, and brother, Calvin Carlton. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Denise Forsythe, daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Gary Coon, granddaughter, Trisha Forsythe, grandsons, Jeremy Forsythe and Blake Coon, and great-grandsons, Kody and Kaden Forsythe. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm from the funeral home chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with Dr. Bill Wilks officiating.
