Sara Clements

Sara Pounds Clements, 61 of Birmingham passed away on February 23 at home surrounded by her children. She was a very loving devoted mother, grandmother, wife, sister and daughter who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Sara retired from Social Security Administration. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lanny Clements and her mother, Marie Pounds. Survivors include her two daughters, Heather Dillon of Birmingham and Courtney Patterson (Bradley) of Hoover; one son, Kyle Clements of Cherokee, AL; her father, Harold Pounds of Birmingham; one sister, Diane Lairmore (Jack) of Odenville; three grandchildren, Katie and Madison Dillon of Birmingham and Summer Patterson of Hoover. Visitation will be held on Friday at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 PM with Graveside services at 3:00 PM in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with Stan Prewett officiating.
