Sara A. Chancellor, age 86, of Leeds, AL passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. She was a member of Moody Church of Christ. She enjoyed painting ceramics and spending time with family in her spare time. Sara was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 ears, Horace C. Chancellor and one brother. She is survived by her loving sons, Derek R. Chancellor (Nanette) and Stephen W. Chancellor (Alice); one sister; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th from 5pm until 7pm at Jefferson Memorial funeral home. Funeral will be at Jefferson Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 14th at 2pm. Burial will immediately follow the service. Jonathan Perz is officiating. Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville is directing.
