Sandra Pate

Sandra Gooch Pate, age 62, of Trussville, died March 6, 2009. Sandy was born May 28, 1946 in Birmingham, AL. She is survived by her husband, V. Virgil Pate; her mother, Carrie Mae Holland Gooch; sisters, Barbara Bearss (Steve) and Janice Hastings (David); brother, Wesley Gooch, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Bell Gooch. Sandy loved to garden and travel and spend time with her many friends. She was especially close to all her nieces and nephews. Sandy was a realtor with Four Star Reality and a life member of Club of Excellence. She started her professional career in the Trust Department of First National Bank of Birmingham. After a number of years in the Magistrate's Office of the Federal Court, she began her realty career with Brigham-Williams. Visitation will be from 12:30 until the funeral service at 2:00PM on Monday, March 9, 2009 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Trussville. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
