Sandra Lee

Sandra Sharit Lee of Trussville, AL went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was preceded in death by her parents Grady Abner Sharit and Evelyn Pugh Sharit; her father and mother in law James “Jimmy” Macon Lee and Flora Smith Lee; and her brother in law Donald “Don” Macon Lee. She leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Billy Gene Lee of Trussville. Two Children – Tonya Cardwell White (Scott) of Trussville and Jarrett Keith Lee (Jana) of Birmingham. Four Grandchildren - Caleb Jarrett Lee, Mikayla Renee Cardwell (Dakota), Morgan Elizabeth Lee and Emersyn Blair White. Two Great Grandchildren – Harper Raelynn and Chandler Renee. Her sister in law – Lynda Crandall Lee. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Sandra was a high school teacher in Georgia until she paused her career to raise her two children. She then resumed teaching at Jefferson State Junior College, UAB and finished her career at her alma mater Tarrant High School. After retiring Sandra volunteered at Clearbranch Methodist Church by starting and leading the Grief Share Ministry and the Joy Group. She has touched many people over her lifetime and will be dearly missed by all.
