Sally Goodwin Clark, 89, passed away April 26, 2018. She was born Sally Bess Goodwin, in Brilliant, Alabama, on June 9, 1928, to parents Tom and Ollie Goodwin. Sally was a devout Christian and attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church with her husband and family for many years. As of late, she attended South Roebuck Baptist Church with her many friends and family. Sally raised a family and lived in the Huffman area most of her married life. Sally came to Birmingham, Alabama, as a young girl to attend school to further a career. It was then that she met her future husband, Ransom Clark. Together they worked and made a life with their two sons in Birmingham, Alabama. Sally was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ransom Clark of 40 years and a daughter in law, Jill Clark. She is survived by her two sons Steve Clark (Edna) and Bill Clark. She has one grandson, Jesse Clark. Sally was an honorable person and an extremely good friend to everyone. She was fortunate to have wonderful friends and neighbors. Visitation will be held April 30, 2018 from 1 to 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2 PM in the chapel and the burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
