We are filled with both a profound sadness as well as a sense of divine peace as we announce the return of our Mother, Grandmother, and best of Friends, Mrs. Ruth H. Freeman, to our Lord Jesus. Mrs. Freeman passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 28, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family.
Mrs. Freeman was an accomplished writer and telephone operator by career, retiring after 40+ years with numerous accolades. She also received much joy from tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, reading, reflecting back on family photos, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by her daughters Sherry (Bill) Bosworth; Janet (Sidney) Quick; and Mary Lou (Ronald) Connally. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: David, Karen, Susan, Tommy, Angie, Brandon, Andrea, Amy, Marisa, and Christina, as well as a growing number of great-grandchildren.
Throughout the 95 years she shared with so many of us on this earth, she has provided us with lifetimes’ worth of the most joyful memories, wisdom, and the deepest of love. Though we will miss her physical presence for the rest of our time here, our faith is strong that we will be reunited with her in our heavenly home. We are overjoyed to know that she has been fully restored to her most perfect form as we both mourn and celebrate her transition to eternity.
